The records consist of the first two volumes of the printed minutes and proceedings of the Association. These contain the constitution and bylaws and a synopsis of the semiannual meetings, including the complete text of committee reports and special papers. They give a good overview of departmental practices at a time when the regulatory environment was changing with the passage of the Elkins and Hepburn Acts.
